Recently, we've had several cases where Jira tickets are closed, and then instantly revert to Open status. It's making it impossible to clear our boards of completed tasks.
When this occurs, we see this in the browser console:
/rest/servicedesk/la…ticscontext/10100:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()
And this seems to be affecting Jira tickets created by Rollbar.
In Rollbar you can setup the notification to re-open a ticket if the error is re-activated. This can be removed so it doe snot happen.
But we use this as a way to know if something starts to show up again that we fixed... so we push it to a re-opened state which is a great way to manage technical debt.
Hello Matt,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
When a ticket is opened automatically, it might be related to some automation.
Can you please check on the ticket history if it shows who reopened the ticket?
Is it happening on a classic or next-gen project?
To confirm if there is some automation, please go to Project settings > Automation (classic) or Project settings > Apps > Project automation (next-gen).
When did this issue start? Was there any change that could cause this like a new add-on or configuration?
Regards,
Angélica
