Why are all issues within a sprint shown as incomplete, even there are only 8 issues incomplete.

Jessica Dahm February 27, 2023

Hi all,

in a current sprint there are 22 issues with status "Done", and only 8 issues are incomplete. But if I click on "Complete sprint" the software says all (30) issues were incomplete.

We've changed nothing nowhere and it worked proper before. All issues that receive the status "completed" were therefore also completed in the sprint.

Was there a change within the system? Does anyone knows this problem too? Thanks for your help... Jessica

Hi @Jessica Dahm

First of all, only issues in the right-most column of the board are considered completed. Also, sometimes there could be more than one Done statuses. Please check board settings.

Please check Done or resolved issues are still shown as incomplete when closing sprints for troubleshooting.

Exactly that was the problem - in the right-most column was a column for the status Hold added. After moving the "Done" column, it works proper now.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi,

Can you make sure that the status is in the rightmost column of the sprint.

Hi @Jessica Dahm

Are there any issues that are assigned to the sprint (using a sprint field) but are not included in the Board scope (using the board filter)?

Also check your last column in the board.

Ravi
