Why are there no project template add-ins for cloud

Why are there no good project template add-in or solutions for the Cloud version?

Because the connect framework does not fully support project creation by external processes (yet)

I am sorry that you can't do what you need, but yes, you are stuck. Cloud simply has no routes to what you want to do.
