for some dashboards, but not others, the rename function doesn't change what I'm guessing is the original name I gave the dashboard, that appears when I open it.

The new name I provide appears in View all dashboards > Search and in the rename function, but not in the user view of the dashboard.  Conversely, the apparent name of the dashboard that appears in the user view does not appear in View all dashboards > Search.

@Phil Bustin I was not able to recreate that issue in my instance.  I am wondering if it is a cache issue.  After you change it has it updated a day later?

Thanks, I think you have identified the problem.  The name did not change a day later; however, today I was able to change the name.  Maybe yesterday I had the same dashboard in cache in another browser session.  There is a hitch, though: Today, I had to open the dashboard > Rename, because using All dashboards > Rename didn't work.
