In Jira Cloud's new UI, when I select a project in the left-hand menu, it displays a dropdown of available boards. Only when I select a board, does the right-hand tab options display. If I click on the summary tab, it shows me a collection of widgets showing the status of all the issues in the project (at least that is my understanding).
I would have expected this summary view when I clicked on the project name in the left-hand menu. Why does nothing show until I select a board? I would expect all the tabs associated with the project to be available when I select the project and additional tabs to show when I select a board.
Am I thinking about this correctly?
Hello @Stephen_Wingert ,
The view you're thinking for NEW vs OLD - actually in reality that differs; tabs will be shown as when you actually select any BOARD. If the project doesn't have any, then they way you want - it will be.
For few additional plugins, that has not been great per UI either ex. JXL sheets, etc.
Appreciate the answer. The difference in operation between the two scenarios makes it a bit confusing in my opinion.
