When I am creating a Task I have 3 fields that are configured as wiki renderer and only in one of them which is "description" I can use the "@user mention" option, in the other two fields even though they are configured as wiki renderer I can't use it, and I checked the global permissions and the Browse Users option is enabled.
Do you have any idea how I can fix this?
Hi @Rodrigo Huitrado welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Does the mentioned user have the Browse Project permission?
Does the issue where he's being mentioned has a security level that restricts him from viewing it?
Is there an empty Recipient against one of the Notification Events on the notification scheme page?
Hi @Dave Mathijs thanks for your prompt reply, my answers below.
1) yes, he has that permission
2) No, it does not have that level of security.
3) No
The strange thing here is that I can use the "user mention" only in one of the 3 fields of the same issue type

Have you tried with [~username] as wel?
If that doesn't solve it, I'm out of options I'm afraid and I hope that other community members have a solution for you.

@Dave Mathijs it worked, thank you very much but excuse my ignorance, why one works and the other doesn't, do you know what is the difference in the configuration?

Referring to JRASERVER-69026 as well as KB article User mentions are not working as expected in Jira Server, I'm still convinced that it's one of the mentioned causes.
