A week ago we started using the Organizations field in Jira Service Desk and really like it.
So today I set out to use the same field in a few Jira projects me & my colleagues use. The system actually let me do so without any errors but the field never appeared on the View or Edit screens. Why not?
I then created a duplicate Organizations field. Nothing wrong with this per say except that I will now have to maintain two duplicate customer lists.

the Organizations field is a feature of Jira Service Desk that is why it can not be used in Jira software. For example, like in Jira software project you can not define SLA and do not have Automation.
