Business Benefits is a field with 5 check boxes. (one or more can be selected)
- Every checkbox has an additional field that needs to be populating before task can be closed.
- When testing there are 3 completed options showing. It will allow the task to close if one is populate and the other blank. How do i get it to show just one completed option?
Business Benefits - Volume & Cost-Capex (selected)
Hi @Sharon
You have 3 transitions to Completed in your workflow, so thats why there are 3 options shown.
If you only want one option, all conditions and validations have to be in a single transition.
The workflow transitions are not hidden based on options set in a field in the issue. The transitions can be executed and based on the values in the fields it can or can't execute.
Based on executing, it will check the condition and or validations set in the transition.
Use the Old Workflow editor to achieve this. (press the 3 dots and switch editor.)

Thanks very much Mark, that has worked! It took a while to work it out. It was best not to use validations just rules-restrict transition.
