Why doesnt Issue key display in search results and is not available in column options?

When i use the issues/filters filter search (basic) the results never have the Issue Key.  When i tried to add them in the "Columns" feature, the Issue key is NOT listed as a column option.

Im not sure how to add it to my default results.

I think it's listed as just "Key", not "Issue key"

Thanks Nic.  You are correct.  I was looking for the wrong field.  "KEY" is what i needed.
