Why don't I see issues linked to an epic in my backlog ?

Mégane LE PALUD May 31, 2019

Since 2 weeks (approximately), there is a difference between the Active sprint table and the backlog list. Tasks (not sub-tasks) linked to an epic appear as subtasks in the active sprint table (epic name and tasks with a grey background) and don't appear in the backlog list for the current sprint.

Before it was ok, tasks were tasks and the link with the epic was shown on the card layout with the "epic name and color widget".

Hello Mégane,

Could it be that you moved some issues from a next-gen project and it's only these issues that manifest the problem?

If so, you might be hitting a known bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17902

Hello,

You're right. Epics come from a next-gen project and the problem concerns only tasks linked to those epics.

I've tested to create an epic and link a task to this new epic and I haven't the problem. The task is still shown as a task and the epic name appears as a colored widget into the card layout.

Hello @Mégane LE PALUD

Can you please share the screenshots of the active board, also sub-tasks don't appear on the backlog view it's only tasks, stories which appear and epics appear in the epic panel.

Hello,

It's totally ok for me that subtasks don't appear on the backlog view but I talked about Tasks.
