Hi,
Am using JIRA Core Server Application and wanted to add some add-ons but i couldn't see any add-ons when i go to Find new add-ons page, its giving empty page and am the Admin of that application.
Is this because am using free trial version of jira for one month? can't we add any add-ons if we are using free version of JIRA Application?
Regards.
If you are running Jira Core as a server installation this is often caused by a firewall rule. Ensure that the server has access to external sites specifically the marketplace.
Dear @Kavitha Yeleti,
apart form your assumption is right, can you reach from the Jira Server https://marketplace.atlassian.com? Check this with wget | curl on command line, please.
And it could be also disabled. There is a "Setting" link at the bottom of the find new add-ons page.
So long
Thomas

Hi,
Thank you both of you for your response!
I have checked "Setting" link at the bottom of find new add-ons page, its enabled only.
Am getting the below message, seems like my server has access to Marketplace.
"No add-ons matching your search criteria are available for installation in your JIRA instance. You can build your own! "
you have any idea in which circumstances we get this message? and can you please tell me how to enable a server to access the external sites in case its is the cause?
Regards,
Kavitha

Kavitha,
Do you have access to the server that the Jira instance is installed on? If you do please try opening the marketplace URL in a browser. https://marketplace.atlassian.com It sounds like the server is being blocked via firewall rules.
