Will you change the quick filters UI again soon?

The new dropdown UI for quick filters makes them just filters, they are no longer quick at all. They were used so many times during the day that we will revert the whole Jira UI back to the old look to make them quick again, but before we do so; are there any plans on improving this further in the near future?

The dropdown is a great feature in addition to the old way of showing them, either by automatically grouping filters on line 2 or (even better) manually selecting what filters should be in the group and not. Outcome:

Hi Tormod,

It is not possible for me to say if or when a change might happen within our Jira Cloud offerings.  I understand that you might be concerned about the changes here and whether or not the new interface will continue to change.  That is possible.

There does exist a feature request asking to restore the previous quick filter view from the previous interface in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-16351

However I would also suggest that you use the 'Give feedback' option from the bottom left profile menu option in Cloud. 

This is one of the key ways that our development team obtains feedback on the new features that come to cloud, especially this new interface related issue.   The feedback received in this manner helps our team prioritize different aspects to iterate upon.
