With the Next Gen Scrum project, how do I set the category?

Robert Whelton December 5, 2018

We are using project categories to help sift (filter) through the numerous project boards we are accumulating. We just created our first Next Get Scrum project. When creating the project there is no option to select the project category, and when I edit the project settings, there no longer is a Category select box like in the project settings for a Classic Scrum project. How do I assign this new Next Gen Scrum project to a project category now?

Hi @Robert Whelton,

At this point, there is no project category support for the Next-gen projects. Stay tuned to the what's shipped and what's coming soon for next-gen software projects at Next-gen roadmap

Thanks,
Ram.

This is an important feature for keeping organized. It seems like low hanging fruit, though I do not know the details of your new architecture and could therefore have an incorrect assumption.  I will put it in as a feature request.

simple sollution - you have to add to the project name an extension (eg. name-prod, name-sales)
