Hello.
I am wondering if anyone can give me any advice on the problem I have come across.
I am looking to export my Jira project to another domain however in doing my Back up for the cloud this message has appeared.
can anyone provide any background information around why this appeared. what is the limit of exports, how often can I export, etc? Also, can anyone provide me with advice on how to work around this.
Many thanks.
You are limited to one backup every 48h. export-issues
is it possible that you previously performed a backup inside that window?
Thanks, jack,
I had previously back this up a couple of times but not in that window. why has this time restriction just came about now and not on the previous backups I had done.
Also, when it reached the end of its time, the message still remained and the time went back to the start. have you got any suggestions to help.

Do you by chance have any automated back ups that are taking place? if not I’m really unsure how to troubleshoot from here. You might need to reach out to Atlassian support to discuss this.

Hi @tom.francis ,
there is a limit on the number of backups with attachments that you can create on Jira Cloud, as you can see in the documentation : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/export-issues/
This means that you will need to wait 48h before generating a new backup with attachments. This limit is in place to avoid putting too much load on the system, as backup with attachments are very large.
However, you can generate a backup file without attachments at any time.
Let me know if this helps,

Yes, this helped. However, I waited for the 48h but when it came to 10 mins to go it went back up to 48h.
Have you got any suggestions to help with this?
