Hello,
We have been using JiraWork Log for 2 weeks to document the work of external employees:
One premise for its use is, on the part of our employee representatives, the anonymization of personal data.
We would have to check whether:
* we can anonymize entries in the work logs of certain persons (not the external ones) (e.g. through automation ?!)
* Can the "Work log" tab in the above screenshot be deactivated for certain groups of people?
Hi @Sebastian
Can you please provide the mentioned screenshot?

@Sebastian I am assuming you have Admin rights on your Jira, otherwise you wont be able to do the below.
please select Settings icon from top right in your Jira then select Issues, from menu on the left side scroll down and select Permission Schemes then select Permission next to the Scheme that is used by your project.
it will open the permissions list covered by this scheme, at the bottom of it you can see time tracking permissions, the one you are after is work on issues. you need to update to cover only groups of people that you want to be able to log time and see time tracking and the rest wont be able either to log their time nor see others logged time. for that you need to create proper groups of users and add people accordingly.

lets assume you have two sets of users, then you need to create group A and group B.
group A are the ones who needs to log time and group B dont need to.
so in permissions, under work on issues you add only group A and this way gsoup B users wont be able to log time nor see what group A logged.
to anonymize logging time, you can do it through automation of course but then in case you want to run a report all time logged will be shown as done by Automation for Jira which i think wont be much useful.
