Workflow List, Buttons

Hi,

I have gone through the helps and faqs on this and am still confused.  How can I change the order of items on the workflow and the two buttons listed on the top of the screen.  I have tried assigning paths to the statuses, but that does not seem to change the ToDo and In Translation buttons.

I'm not sure what you might mean by "assigning paths", but you are looking in the right place.

What you should do is write the order that you want the transistions to appear in, and then number each line uniquely.  I tend to use 10, 20, 30 etc, so that if I want to add another one later, I can dive in at 24 or 26 and not have to renumber later.

Then, edit the workflow.  Look at each transition in turn, when you see the detail, you should find a link for "properties".  For each transition, add a property called opsbar-sequence , and give it the value of the line number.

Note that if you leave any blank, I think (but I'm not sure), the system uses the tranisition's unique number from the database.

That is Perfect!  The real trick was the opsbar-sequence feature.  Seems to me that just defining a workflow sequence should be enough to keep those buttons updated during the process of the workflow.  However, I needed to use the opsbar-sequence value to really make it work.

Thank You.
