Worklog app, possible to add dynamic into date range selection?

Hi all,

I'm using Worklogs app by SolDevelo. It's super good, all I need , just interesting if it's possible to add some dynamics into date selection field,  so when you click on it  will display stats for last 2 complete weeks (or last  complete half month  period  from 1-15th or 16-eom).  So you don't need to do any manual selection.

Thanks + Happy Holidays

Hello @Ratom ,

Thank you for your question. We are glad that your current impressions on Worklogs are positive!

In terms of date filtering within Worklogs, you can use quick filter options by clicking on the Date range and selecting one of the quick filters such as Current week, Current month, Previous week, Previous quarter etc.

These quick filters should allow you to easily filter your Worklogs by date without manually choosing the dates each time.

Let me know if such a solution is suitable for you, or if you are looking for something else. Feel free to describe how such a feature would work in your eyes.

Looking forward to your reply!

Thanks Tomasz  and all you team for super app!

in my case customer wants to save even that single click, it's kind of VIP case, even requested to create bookmark without going into the jira home page first.
But it's OK.
As many orgs using 2 weeks sprint period, they probably will like to have this option.

I see that date range presented in URL like below

.....startDate=1734940800000&endDate=1735459200000....

I tested it more , see that  when you click on  worklogs  icon by default it takes current single project + all users + current month.
For my case users want to track multiple projects  for given list of users for last 2 weeks. Would be nice if we can save selected configurations to make it work with single click.

For  now I created links for VIP users they can click on, after this they still need to adjust date range.

Thanks again for making this app.

Thank you for your replies!

I would like to add that you can also use the built-in report feature in Worklogs, which allows you to save all filters (including multiple users, projects etc.), including the selected date range as a separate report that can be easily accessed, or even opened as a default report while accessing Worklogs app.

I think that after setting it up, this solution should be a quite close one to a "single click" one :)

Hi @Ratom , thanks for your question.

You are asking if in the date range, you can preselect, for example, one of the options that are displayed (like current week, etc)?

https://soldevelo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WA/pages/1478492188/Date+range

I think you'll need to ask this to the vendor, if it would be possible. Looking at the documentation, it's not clear to me if you can do much customisation. You can contact them from the marketplace listing in the Support tab.

Best wishes

Thanks Valerie,

I think this won't be 100% dynamic, it's just a quick selector for the date range. My customer  doesn't want to deal with date selection at all, I will check it more.
