I have a very strange issue with my Jira Software Server instance. I got a report from a user that Component Watchers were not being added to issues. I went to Admin -> Apps -> Manage Apps and found that suddenly, four of my apps are listed as incompatible with the current version! I upgraded my version of Jira to 8.1.1 in early May, and at that point all apps were updated and had no issues. How could this suddenly happen?
Investigating further, I went to the Latest Upgrade Report page and saw that it was now telling my upgrade to 8.8.1 occurred on 15-Nov-2019. This version wasn't even released until April 2020!
Any idea what could have possibly happened?
Hello @Michael Thompson , I think you are hitting this bug that's reported with Atlassian - JRASERVER-66386 JRASERVER-67130
"Workaround
No workaround. the upgrade was done correctly even though the time/date shows the wrong upgrade."
So, I think it's safe to update your plugins.
Thanks Sachin, at least that suggests no relation to the incompatibility problem.
However, I've just performed the updates to all of my apps in my test environment, everything appears to be running smoothly, but Component Watchers are still not being added to new issues.
I'm running a locked re-index as I write this to see if it makes a difference.

Let me know how that goes Michael.

Still no luck after the re-index completed. The Log Analyzer is coming up clean, no errors, and all the apps are now running the latest versions.
