I last installed a trial version Nov 2019. I have now purchased a license abut have forgotten username and password. Using the email address and password for my Altassin online account does not work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Jira- same issue.
As I need to evaluate this for wider use - it would be good to get access to the application!
What can I do next?
Hi @Duran Bell
Do you have any important data in your previous Jira instance which you still need to access?
No - I have no important data in my previous Jira instance - so I don’t mind loosing the data.

I am assuming that you have not generated license key for the license you recently purchased.
You can simply uninstall the previous instance of Jira and install a new/fresh instance.
Once you install the new instance, apply your new license on this instance.
It seems like you did not uninstall Jira properly (probably the jira home directory was not deleted) and hence you are facing the issue again.
You need to remove the jira home directory to completely remove any previous data/ config.

Details for uninstalling Jira on windows is available here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/uninstalling-jira-applications-from-windows-938846838.html
Please uninstall Jira and also delete the jira home directory to get completely rid of your previous jira instance data/ config.
Note: you can create a copy of your jira home directory and keep it somewhere safe if you think there may be some useful data in previous jira instance.
