add ScriptRunner Scripted Field as a column in JQL search

Frédérique Cusson November 9, 2021

Hi all,

I created a number Scripted Field with ScriptRunner. I would like to compare the value between multiple issues, so I wanted to add it as a column in JQL search. I know it was possible in Jira Server, but it doesn't seem possible in Cloud. I tried both JQL search interfaces (Advanced issue search and ScriptRunner Enhanced Search.) and I couldn't do it.

Is there a way to do it? Or is there a workaround to export the values somehow?

Thanks

Hi Frederiuqe,

I can confirm that if you configure an Alias for the Scripted field in Jira cloud when you configure it then you can search for this field however currently it is not possible to display the field as a column in the results returned on the Enhanced Search screen as mentioned in the documentation page located here

Regards,

Kristian

Is there any update on this issue or a workaround using automation or post-function workflow to display the values of a scripted field in JQL search screen?

Does the value appear in exported data if you use the Export All Fields option from the Advanced issue search screen?
