automatically expand more than 5 comments in Jira?

Hi,

What  need to do for  automatically expand  more than 5 comments in issue in the Activity panel , for example 20 comments visible and another old comments should be hidden.

I tried to put this option, but it doesn't work for me, because usually in a single task a lot of comments and after he collapsed the first 20 comments, still starts to show only 5 last comments . Maybe there is a property that would allow to customize the number of showing the latest of comments?

Hi,

I think you have 2 options: 

• Administration > System > General Configuration > Advanced Settings: set jira.comment.collapsing.minimum.hidden to 20
