Yesterday I activated the Backlog Feature and moved some tickets to the Backlog. On our Kanban Board we would like to keep the Columns "To Do", "In Progress", "To Be Verified" and "Done".
Now, everytime I open the board I get this popup:
I clicked "No thanks" already so many times, but it would show up again and again...
How can I stop this to show?
Also, when I click "No thanks" the jira board becomes unusable. Like, I cannot open any issues on the board or create new ones. Really weird.
@Henry Su Not sure, if this is connected to the roadmap feature for Kanban boards?
Thank you!
Katja
@kknoerr I went into "Manage workflow" created a new status (essentially a new column), "Update workflow". The prompt seemed to stop showing up.
I think you can then delete the new column (if you don't need it) and the prompt will still not show up.

Hi @kknoerr ,
could you please open the board settings and choose menu item "columns" and send a screenshot of your setting?
Best

My guess is, that the logic is, that things that are not in progress yet, but which are ToDos, should be in the backlog?
It just is not the flow we use... We have things in the backlog that should not be started yet and when PO and IT agree, that tickets can be started they move to the board into the "To Do" column, but that does not mean, that they get started on them right away...

Try to create an issue directly in the backlog and move it up to the "Board" list (see screenshot).
