can I run script on Jira cloud?

I'd like to run scripts against Jira cloud from my mac to do things like:

Advanced Searches and download to csv

Bulk actions like "Put everything older than 500 days in the wont-fix state and add a comment"

Is it possible?

What permissions do I need?

Hi @Bruce Hartman

There are various solutions available. You can code in virtually any language and use externally to the cloud environment by making API calls to it. Others includes using automation for Jira within you cloud instance to handle this type of task you've mentioned. Standard Jira permission applies to any action that you want to carry out, ability to configure the automation etc.

This looks like I can access.  Can I change field values?
