can we create custom field in jira which is connected to LDAP

Can you explain the output or action you wanted to have with this custom field w.r.t ldap?
Currently, nothing as out of box for custom field with ldap.

i want to get assignee name in custom field as a drop down when i start typing the name
You can use the custom field as 'User Picker' - this would provide users from the all user directory.
