Hi, I created a filter and had it subscribed (as a personal subscription), but in our organization does not heavily using emails but slack.
How can we set it to Slack DM instead of sending an email?
We have already JIRA app integrated to our Slack, and I constantly receive JIRA notifications via Slack (like status changes and new comments) but not the email notification of filter subscription.
Howdy @[deleted] ,
This is possible with Jira's Automation. The list of issues can be sent to a channel, or a DM as you are looking for! Have a peek at this Community article explaining how to set up a scheduled Automation run to send issues to Slack.

Wow, this sounds a plan!
I'll try this. Thank you so much for your support.

Hi @[deleted]
Welcome to the community!
Unfortunately, I think there is no way to send the notifications directly from a filter subscription to a Slack channel, however, the plugin Slack JIRA Integration provide you the option to filter notifications by priority, component, resolution, labels, status, type, assignee, reporter, epic, and sprint.
A possible workaround would be to configure the Slack address to your filter subscription, so the e-mail could be sent and stored in Slack.
Please, check the documentation below to know how you could do it: Send emails to Slack
Hope it will help!

Hi, thank you for your response, and it sounds good to me but in the subscription setting, we can not specify the email address but just select from the strap-down options. (in the options, we can choose from only jira-related groups.)
Maybe I am referring to a totally different area?

@[deleted] As checked in the document Send emails to Slack seems it is paid subscription.
You can raise the ticket to Atlassian Support for further request : https://support.atlassian.com/

Thank you for your kind update. I will check our management side if this paid option makes a difference or not.
