Hello, this may be answered out there but I have looked and not found this yet.
JIRA Data Center/Server version 9.4
I want automation to change the color of the text font in the Summary to Red if it goes past the due date.
I can update the summary text value, but I have not found how to change the size or color of it.
Note that is this for the actual issue, not email text. Also, I did try a solution found in the forums but I get an automation error that says the field must be a string.
At this point I would be happy if I could change the color of just about ANY field, but Summary would be best.
Thank you in advance to all of you!!
Hi @Daniel Jones,
The Summary field cannot be formatted. But to change color (to red) in multiline text fields, you can use this:
{color:red}{{issue.customfield_12345}}{color}
Example:
I was using the Advanced Edit function, but Thank you I will give this a try.

The summary formatting is not supported at the moment.
I found this suggestion {{Summary Field}} does not support markup Text Effects but is now closed and won't be implemented.

In alll fields that support rich text you can change the format and colors.
