Can I open a task that was downloaded by backing up the archive to a computer?

If you were talking about backing up and restoring from the back up then is important to note that restore completely wiped out the instance and applies backup in full not in part. I made a misunderstanding your question here if so please help me out.

I'm downloading a backup file, there are tasks in that archive, I just want to open one of them without using a backup.
