Recently created free Jira account. Could I kindly know if the free account comes with extra functionality such as "Backlog", "Board, "Releases" "Pipeline". 

It looks like the free account is limited with functionality.

The evaluation/ trial account/ instance of Jira Cloud has all the features which are available in the paid version.

For backlog, boards you need to create scrum/ kanban projects (you can select template of the project while creating a new project).

That is not enterely truth. A board can be related to a project or a JQL. The only thing you need for using boards is to have Jira Software, but a board can be a JQL with many projects at once
