Hello! Some of my users are suddenly not able to see the Development field on their issue screens (they were able to up until a few days ago.) Has something changed with the way it needs to be configured? They are using bitbucket, which is connected to Jira.
If they go into bitbucket and manually create a branch & add the Jira ticket there, it suddenly appears on the Jira screen. But the field is not visible to them prior to that. Also, the Development field is not in the "Hide if Empty" section so it should always be visible when empty.
Any answer for this? Our Jira Work Management project is no longer able to view Development since March 28th. Our Jira Software projects were not affected. The project has correct permissions (they were able to see Development before the 28th) but I now I am unable to add the field 'Development' to the issue layout.

Yes, they do. I confirmed their group is also included in the "View Development Tools" permission.
