how to copy label from parent issue

I want to copy lable when I create issue from More button.

Link type is made as  "contains' and "is contained in".

I set automation rule like below and audit log says success, however, label is not copied. I don't know what problem is and why audit log show success.

Can you help me?

Hi @jun lee ,

I believe the problem is you are creating two linked issues with link "contains/is contained in". (and not child issue for some parent). This is the reason why the automation rule is not working, because there's no parent for your created issue (only linked issue).

I think you need to use different approach with the usage of "Issue linked" trigger instead of "Issue created".

I tried as your answer and set rule also as copy from parent, copy from Epic, and copy from trigger issue. However there is no "contains/is contained in" from link type filed and it doesn't work.

When I tested as below, rule doesn't work at 3rd issue.

Issue A > issue B linked  => Success

Issue A > issue B linked > issue C linked  => label added to issue B, but label isn't added to issue C

How should I do?
