how to create array custom field?

I need to store array. One and two dimensional. 

I can't find any standard options for it. No options in admin panel and no plugins.

Should I create own plugin for it?

Could you describe a little more your use case? For example, what kind of information/data do you need in your custom field? When would it be populated? Is it information you have stored somewhere else (for example in another tool or an external data base)?

* each value in 2d matrix is string or int

* I expect some GUI to populate it

* information is stored only in jira
