how you populate custom fields in the TestRail push defect Jira plugin

Hi, I'm using TestRail with a Jira plugin.  I have some fields in Jira which are required, so i have added these custom fields to the Jira defect plugin in TestRail like this:

[push.fields]

customfield_10101=on

customfield_10500=on

[hover.fields]

customfield_10101=on

customfield_10500=on

[field.settings.customfield_10101]
label=Likelihood
size=compact
type=dropdown
required=false

[field.settings.customfield_10500]
label=Team
size=compact
type=Team Picker
required=false

I have tested this field in testrail but the field is not able to populate the drop-down menu items.

For my second custom field, is it possible to populate the Team field? I have tried to add it in the setup but it display this error: incorrect field type. I have tried to change it to dropdown but same result.

Hi @Maralee Grajo 

You haven't defined the issue/work item type.

Is the custom field available on the Jira issues you want to populate, check with the Jira admin.

The team field on Jira is not a field that can be set as a dropdown, this can only be set by using the Id of the specific Team

Question is of Teat rail support this.

Thank you for the reply, I have added the team field settings and retry to test it out but still same error. I have also tried to change the type value to text or string same result.

Reach out to Test Rail support if this field can be used, I think it probably can't, as its no a standard custom field.
