I created a new issue Type: Epic-PXXX, its work fine, but i didnt see the epics created in the Backlog.
How can I add them to the backlog?
Hi Eric,
What type of project are you using? Team-managed? Company-managed? Jira Work Management?
Can you share a screenshot of the Backlog?
I work with the "cloud" team-managed version.
And since I switched from Data Center to Cloud, I am facing difficulties with inheritance and other difficulties I don't understand ...

You should not use the Team-managed project type then. I suggest you try a Company-managed project and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Team managed projects can only have one issue type at the Epic level.

Hm, @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- , care to amend your answer? Team Managed projects can certainly have more than one issue type. ;-)

Company-managed projects can do different types of Epic, as long as you are using Advanced Roadmaps to define it as such - the projects and boards still won't see it as an Epic
