I have a scheduled job recalculating total remaining time for an epic by sum of all it's children's remaining estimates.
Using custom-made filters the results show the remaining estimate correctly!
When opening an epic issue, time tracking remains 0.
When using the custom-made filter in a dashboards filter-result gadget, alle fields regarding time tracking (time tracking, remaining estimate, etc...) have no value!
I have checked all field and screen configurations to check if time tracking is not hidden and all corresponding fields are added.
I have checked online documentation but did not find any solution. Maybe this is a bug?
Any help is highly appreciated!
Hello @Marcel van Gemert
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Is the scheduled job that does the calculation an Automation Rule? If so, please share screen images showing the entire rule and details of steps where you do the calculation and set the field in the Epic.
Hi Trudy.
Thank you for responding to my question!
The issue is not the automation rule but is in the dashboard.
I have a saved filter, which shows the correct remaining estimate:
But when i use this filter in a dashboard in the same project, using the 'filter results' gadget any time-tracking fields are empty:

so i have one saved filter, named 'my_saved_filter' showing 2 epics wíth correct remaining estimate calculation.
When i use 'my_saved_filter' in the project's dashboard using a gadget named filter results the remaining estimate field is empty...???:
I am owner of the dashboard. In the dashboards many other properties of the epic are shown as expected, like assignee, due date, reporter etc...

This is the daily scheduled task to update the remaining estimate in jira:
This is the result in the filter itself:
It clearly shows the data expected, so that's OK.
But not i use this same filter in a dashboard using filter results gadget and the data is not shown:
So there is something wrong with the filter-results gadget or somehow i need to check some specific settings?
Please anyone?

I do not understand why the remaining estimate is shown in the filter result but not in the dashboard using filter-results gadget...

@Trudy Claspill : my hopes are on you! ;)
Am i doing something wrong here, or is it just a limitation of the filter-results gadget?
