I see there are different types of log file generated in installation directory. what are these logs

access_log.date.log

catalina.date.log

host-manager.date.log

localhost.date.log

manager.date.log

please help

These are the most important logs, which you have to monitor.

I am unable to find these log file details in kb, please let me know where do we find these information. or where these logs are configured

These are Tomcat logs. You should look for info in tomcat resources. Usually these logs are not needed.
