Hello @Aymane jilali

You may have to adjust the permission schemes used by the other projects to ensure that the user doesn't have access to them.

Make sure that the Browse Projects permission is not allocated to Application Access, Public or Any Logged In User.

Also confirm that the user does not belong to any User Groups that are granted that permission in other projects.

If you have Team Managed projects on your instance, the Access setting for each of those must be changed to Private. If the Access setting is left as Limited or Open, then anybody that has access to your Jira site will be at least able to view the content of the projects.

is there a way to limite a user from  "atlassian-addons-project-access"

for my understanding this is the role that give access to other projects

That role does not grant access to projects for users.

The purpose of that role is to enable access to your projects for some of the internal Jira functionality and for third party apps. You cannot manage the members of that role. And if you remove that role from permissions that can break functionality.

That role being granted all the permissions in your project has no bearing on an individual user being able to access the project.

i didn't notice the permission "Any logged in user" at first

I had to change permission in the default permission scheme

Thanks for your help

Did you change the permission scheme for the other projects as well? The default is to allow anyone with application access to browse projects, so you need to change that as well. I would either limit it to a group that excludes the users that should have access to the projects, or use project roles instead. The advantage of using project roles is that you can then allow project admins to control who have access to the project.

i did create a new project role for this,

all users get this permission "atlassian-addons-project-access" , I need to remove user from this role

I cant change this for all projects
