managing watchers stop working on own issues

I can't add a new watcher anymore.
I could, always and last time was for 2 weeks ago.
I'm using JIRA Cloud and I'm an administrator of the project.
I created an issue and wanted to add a watcher, as usual.
But when I go to Watchers page, I found only 2 buttons, one to go back to the issue and the other to stop watching the issue.
No List of users to add any more...
I don't have (never had) the "New JIRA issue view" on my profile because I need something stable, not something changing all the time.

Do anyone knows why it stop working?

sincerely

Mercedes

I'm still having the same problem.
I CAN'T use the new JIRA issue view because is too much distracting with all the icons you have to use to see what it was shown directly in the old view. I CAN'T edit the fields because the width is not ok.  The description field is no longer in the old Wiki markup format.
The only good thing is that I can add watchers...
I don't understand WHY it stopped working last week.

Mercedes,

Are you using an app to add watchers to your tickets? As far as i know, a user can add themselves as a watcher and not any other person doing so on their behalf.

Thank you for your answer, Victor.
I always have done it. I create an issue in one project where I'm administrator, and then add some users as watcher.
But I just open the "New JIRA issue view" in my profile and I can now add watchers with the "eye" icon.

Thanks anyway.
