Hello, I need to migrate a project from jira software in organization1 to jira service management in organization2, is it possible to migrate project between to different product? license in organization1 will expire and I need to do the migration as soon as possible.
if yes, what is the best way to do ? I started using jira migration assistance but I don't get the target site even if II am organization admin in both organizations
Hi @Fatima AALLA Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
You should first move the issues from the Software project to the Service project on the source side and then move the project across the organization.
When moving the Software project, the destination site should have Jira software to accept the incoming Software project.
Hello @Utkarsh Singh thanks for answering, please what are the tools to use to move the the jira software project to an other organization

I'll suggest cloud-to-cloud migration feature.
Or you can take a backup from one site and import it to the other(You need to delete the unwanted data later and also the existing data of the destination site will be over written)
Or, you can export the project in CSV and then import the CSV on the destination site.

Hello @Utkarsh Singh
can the migration be done from jira software to jira service management or it must be only the same product

@Utkarsh Singh so we can't do the migration between two different product using Jira migration assistant, is there any other way to do it? or it's impossible
