We are looking to populate the field based on value selected in previous field on issue transition screen
we are hosting on Jira cloud,
if there is any other means by which we can achieve above scenario or any workaround suggestion would be highly appreciated
Hi @shetty
Have you tried using the Copy Value from Other Field workflow post function? Here you can set the source and destination fields so that the value from the source field is copied across to the value in the destination field.
If this doesn't work for you then there's definitely some things you could try around project automation. Hope this helps!
Its not copy the field it is like dynamic fields
there are two fields ABC & DEF with different values
if I select field ABC & value as A
then the field DEF should appear on transition screen

@shetty It's not possible to add/remove custom fields from screens based off a value given to a custom field (if I've understood your question correctly!)
Could something be done using the Cascading list custom field type?
