"Developer: Developer is required." Jira error when creating issue

Hi,

Out of a sudden I am getting this error when creating issue in my Jira cloud. I can't find any information on this error too when googling it. Would appreciate any urgent help.

Hello @David Gan ,

Go to project settings --> issues --> fields -->  check "Field Configuration Scheme" --> Check the associated Field configuration associated with the required issue type (where you saw Developer Filed as mandatory).

And make it as optional.

It will mostly solve the issue.
