During the estimation session, I keep getting Error while saving estimate (invalid number) when trying to click save & next and the estimated number is a decimal (0.25, 0.5 etc.).
However, decimals can be entered into the story point field when editing an issue the regular way.
The board itself is configured to allow decimals.
Hi @Mark T_
Could you please specify the name of the app that you use for estimating and its hosting (Cloud or Data Center)?
We use Jira V8.20.1 on premise. I am not totally sure if the estimation feature is part of the main package or part of a plugin. The info screen mentions Jira Agile, also V8.20.1.

@Mark T_
Can you tell me which field you are using for estimation? You mentioned that you allow decimals. Which field is used as an Estimation Statistic?
Cheers
Paweł

@Mark T_ I think you use the app I support - Agile Poker. I was able to reproduce the problem in Asynchronous estimation session when German is set as the default instance language.
The problem appears for the German language because Jira switched the decimal point format from full stop to comma. Interesting, that when you enter something like "0,25" it accepts it and saves as "0.25".
Probably, the easiest resolution would be to switch Jira's default language to English and have personal account settings switched to German, but I understand that this is not convenient. Let me investigate this further.
I recommend contacting our support to stay in the loop: support@appfire.com
