Did you mean:

"Issue does not exist or you do not have permission to see it" popup

Brent Wheeldon May 16, 2018

If I have an issue open in my browser for a few minutes I often get a modal popup that says "Issue does not exist or you do not have permission to see it". If I refresh it seems totally fine. Several other member of my team experience the same thing regularly.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

Hi!

Check logs in installation or home directories, there may be additional useful information. Or you can also use Home Directory plugin and check the logs from there.

There should be more information which can help.

Logs you're looking for called atlassian-jira.log and catalina.out

You can try to look through the logs or catch the timing of the error you get.

Hi Greg. Thanks for the suggestion but we're using the hosted version so I'm not sure we have access to those logs.

You still should have access to logs via free Home Directory plugin.
