"Linked issues" does not show in available fields selection for validators

Dear Community,

I saw from other discussions and posts that you can add a validator to make "linked issues" required for a transition. However, Linked Issues does not show up under "Available fields" when I add a new validator. Am I doing something wrong or has that option been removed recently?

Hi Jan,

I think, with plain Jira a validator on linked issues is not possible. We use the app Jira Workflow Toolbox for that, but there might be other apps as well with that functionality.

This app has a validator on linked isses (number, type, status, ...)

Thanks for the hint. I meanwhile found some other discussions that also suggest this. Very unfortunate. Can you summarize some of the main features of JIRA workflow toolbox? Doesnt make sense to get it for this feature only probably...

Problem is, it is not available for cloud :(
