Hi,
We came a cross a situation where in the SCRUM board backlog we got a message saying that there are too many issues to show.
Is there really such limitation? if yes, what is the max # of issues that can be displayed?
Thanks.
Hi @Ori Cohen
There is a limit to the number of items that can be displayed on a board, but it doesn't matter if you are using a Free or Paid subscription.
For a Business/Work Management project that limit is 1000 issues.
Please refer - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JWMCLOUD-23
For a Software project board the limit is 5000 issues.
Do you think you are exceeding those limits?

Abhishek
Thanks for the Answer @abhishek_sharma03.
I think that in one of our boards we may have exceeded the limit of 5000 items.
we will check the board configuration and see if we can limit it a bit.
Thanks.

Hi Ori,
Not sure of the exact number - but it's a lot. How many do you have? And is that a reasonable number to you to have in a backlog?

Recent changes of the Backlog board considered the sub tasks as well which it has to give option to display or not. Backlog board exceeding 5000 limit causes issues due to sub tasks inclusion as well
