"You don't have permission to transition this issue" while there are no further transitions

Hello All,

"You don't have permission to transition this issue" message while there are no further transitions ( Done status) in the context field section even for administrators.

I don't face any challenges while doing the transitions but  "You don't have permission to transition this issue"  shows when the statuses button expanded in the context field section.

Hi Ravi,

You need to check the Workflow to see if there are any transitions from the Done status to any other statuses such as Reopened or something like that. 

There must be a transition to another status in your workflow in order to move cards out of the Done status.

Thank you John for the response but there are no further transitions after Done in the workflow.

That is the problem. Why to you want to move the card out of Done? And to what status do you want to move it to?

I don't want to move the ticket from any status from Done. But, JIRA is still showing the dropdown from Done status even there are no outgoing statuses. It shouldn't show the expand when there are no outgoing status.

It is letting you have access to view the workflow in the drop down. That's the only way to view it from within an issue.
