Hello, I recently invited a new member of our team to join Jira, he received the invitacion, created the account, but now when I'm trying to add him to a project, when I start type the email to add him, there are 2 suggested users with the same email... and that is not possible. When I add the first one of the emails to the project the user can't see the project, but when I add the second one (the same email) he can. There is a problem with the profile image too, because the 2 emails that I see in the suggested users doesn't have any picture, but the user already has one. Looks like a atlassian bug.
regards
Guillermo
Hello Guillermo,
Can you please provide us a screenshot of the place you are trying to add the user?
Indeed, we have some bugs informing this behavior on some user-picker fields:
- Duplicate users returned if a user exists in more than 1 directory.
- Duplicated users displayed as suggestion
- Assignee picker shows duplicate users
However, all the bugs reports are related to JIRA Server (Not Cloud) and are caused when the same user exists in more than one directory.
I say you flagged this question as JIRA-Cloud, so none of these bugs should be reproducible for you. Can you please double check if you don't have invited the same user with a typo in the e-mail which has created another account?
Hello, tnak you for your answer. It is working now, the system suggest me only one user, and I did't change anything so I don't underestand what could be. I have another open issues here, can you check them please?
regards
