restrict creation of components and release versions

Hi Guys,

I would like to allow the creation of components and release-versions only to jira-admins in our projects.

Just to avoid that collegues create a new release version or component by accident.

Hi @Vincent,

components and versions can be created by project administrators due to Jira's permission model. More specific someone needs to have the "Administer Projects" permission in order to do so, see also managing project permissions.

You could simply not give anyone project administration permissions if that works for you.

PS: If you're using the free plan, I think you're not able to handle the permissions on the project level.
