there is no user story point field when i create user story

Hi team,

there is no user story point field when i create user story,please see below graph,can you tell me how to solve this issue,I want to product burn-up chart base on this filed,but currently there is none

That's probably because the field is not on the create screen for that issue type.

A note about the configure fields panel in your screenshot: that is only meant to hide/show fields for you personally. And it will only show fields that are configured on the current screen via the Jira settings.
In other words: it is a personal preference you can set in order to hide some fields.

When you need to add a field to a screen you should go to the Jira settings -> Issues -> Screens.
Of course you need to know which screen belongs to that issue type. For that I recommend to look at the project settings where you will see the screen configurations for the project.

thanks for your response,do you mean here i can set the field for screen?but it seems i have no access,what's your opinion?

for user story points i can see from field there no screen for this.is that the issue?

You need to be a Jira administrator to change the screens. Being a project admin is not enough.

So if you are not an admin you should ask your Jira admin to perform the changes for you.
