unable to see apps approved by admin

Hello there, im very new to the Jira world so might need some hand holding videos or help. So far ive got 2 issues. First is the apps that i request are not visible after my admin approves of them.

Second is he is not able to see the requests for any new project that i'm requesting for. All i see is request sent to admin upon submission but he doesn't get any email triggers or popups or alerts on the site; so he is unable to approve it. does he need to go any where specific on his admin console to view it?

To be specific im trying the ITSM & General SM projects.

When your administrator "approves" of an app installation, are they then actually going off and installing and configuring the app for you?

App requests are a global thing, not a project thing, and they simply email the admins to tell them you've asked for an installation,

Thank you for the reply sir. no i do not see my admin doing any config post approving so that might be the issue.

I think i understood now how this app thing works on Jira. The app not just needs to be configured but i also need to have an account with the respective app otherwise its not going to work.
