update confluence

Hi.

We plan to update JIRA v6.3.10 to JIRA v7.12. We also have Confluence 5.8.2.
Jira and Confluence are hosted on different servers. 

Are there any problems with working with the new version of Jira and the old version of Confluence?
Do we need to update confluence to last version?

Hi @Marat

Normally it should not be a problem. 

You can check this page to see if everything is compatible. 

But if you can upgrade confluence. Do yourself a favor and upgrade it too because there are a lot of improvements.
